博士生导师,遥感与数字地球全国重点实验室副主任。先后主持国家重点研发计划项目、课题,中国科学院战略性先导科技专项子课题,国家自然科学基金等科研项目,发表学术论文160余篇,包括 Science、Science Advances(通讯)、Nature Sustainability、Nature Communications(通讯)、PNAS(通讯)等顶级期刊。出版专著3部,获省部级奖励6项。构建了“分类-结构-功能”全链条植被碳汇本底遥感探测技术体系,提出了“观测站点-遥感数据-AI模型驱动”的生态系统碳通量估算方法,参与研制了国际首台32波段全波形对地观测高光谱激光雷达。研究成果应用于高质量碳汇遥感估算、生态修复碳汇绩效评估等多个重要固碳增汇实践中,并先后被央视《新闻直播间》《新闻联播》《光明日报》《科技日报》等媒体报道。
