Dr. Yusheng Shi is a professor at the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Dr. Shi received his Ph.D in Earth and Environmental Sciences at Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Nagoya University, Japan. He was a Research Associate in GOSAT-2 Project Team, Center for Global Environmental Research, National Institute for Environmental Studies, Japan. He then worked as an Associate Professor at Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, CAS. Now, He is a Professor at Aerospace Information Research Institute, CAS, Professor and PhD supervisor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
