Curriculum Vitae

LIU Linyi, Ph.D., Assistant Research. Dr. Liu specializes in remote sensing mechanisms of crop pests and diseases and the development of monitoring and forecasting platforms. He has developed coupling techniques integrating pest and disease mechanism models with remote sensing observation models, established a remote sensing indicator system for crop pest and disease monitoring and forecasting, and studied multi-scale spectral characteristics and variation patterns of crop diseases and pests. His work enables multi-source data-based monitoring and forecasting of crop pests and diseases, and overcomes key technical bottlenecks in intelligent management of big data and efficient computation of models. He has led two national-level research projects and participated in five additional projects at the national and provincial levels. Dr. Liu has published 19 SCI-indexed papers, co-authored two academic books, and holds or has pending two international invention patents and six national invention patents. He has also obtained five software copyrights.

Dr. Liu was awarded the 2025 GEO Emerging Leader Award (one of only two recipients worldwide), the 2023 Excellent Achievement Award of Remote Sensing in China, and the 12th DBN Science and Technology Innovation Award. He serves as a peer reviewer for leading international journals in remote sensing, agriculture, and artificial intelligence.
