Dr. Lifang Zhao is an associate professor at the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth,Aerospace Information Research Institute,Chinese Academy of Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Cartography and Geographical Information System from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012.
Research Interests:
Her research focuses on remote sensing-based Intelligent interpretation,land surface processes,and assessment of Ecolgical Environment using multi-source remote sensing imagery.

[1] The paper"A Dual-Branch U-Net for Staple Crop Classification in Complex Scenes"has been selected for the"Best Research Award"in Remote Sensing in 2025.
[2] The paper"Estimating net radiation flux in the Tibetan Plateau by assimiating MODIS LST products with an ensemble Kalman filter and particle filter"has been accepted the <Comprehensive Remote Sensing> Editor-in-Chief. Shunlin Liang in 2018. The specialized publication has pointed out the paper firstly proposed estimation of net radiation with data assimilation method. It is one of three main estimation of net radiation methods internationally at present.
