Yonghui Lei received the Ph.D. degree in meteorology from the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading, Reading, U.K., in 2008. She was an Associate Researcher with Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. Her research interests include the water cycle, land–atmosphere interaction and climate change.
